To the average citizen, Andee Beierle looks the part of an
unassuming college student, enrolled as Chemistry major, maintaining a 4.0 GPA
throughout high school, volunteering in her community, and being a multi-sport
athlete.
However, from a young age, she was destined to race. Andee
started her career in 2003, racing quarter midgets, as many young racers have.
She picked up her first career win in just her second ever start in a quarter
midget that season.
2004 saw Andee win the Wild West Quarter Midget Series
Senior Novice class at the Ambassador Speedway in Tampa, FL.
2005 found Andee transitioning from quarter midgets to
karts, placing 7th in Dirt Devils Speedway Junior Sportsman Champ Kart class.
2006 was another year of transition, relocating from Florida
to North Dakota. Before leaving Florida, she once again placed 7th in Dirt
Devils Speedway Junior Sportsman Champ Karts class. Andee continued racing
karts after relocating, placing 7th racing with the WKA Heartland Pavement
Series in the Junior Sportsman 2 Champ Kart class. Andee also garnered a pair
of 4th place finishes in both the Junior Lite 1 and Junior Heavy 1 classes at
the Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, ND.
2007 found Andee moving up to Buffalo River Race Park's
Junior 2 Lite Kart class, where she placed 2nd in track points. Andee once
again competed with the WKA Heartland Pavement Series in the Junior Sportsman 2
Champ Kart class, picking up a 4th place finish in the series. Andee also won
the Brown Co. Fair Stock Lite Kart Feature in Aberdeen, SD, during the 2007
season.
Andee once again made the step up for 2008, joining the
750cc Mini Sprint class at the Williston Basin Speedway. Andee scored a 3rd
place finish her first time ever in a mini sprint, and placed 8th in the
year-end points at Williston Basin.
2009 was a breakout year for Andee. She became the first
female to pick up a heat race and a feature win in the mini sprint class at
Williston Basin. She also picked up a 3rd in the Western North Dakota Mini
Sprint Tour, as well as a 3rd in the Stock Lite Kart class at the Buffalo City
Speedway in Jamestown, ND. Andee was rewarded with Sports Person Of The Year
award for her efforts in 2009.
2010 was once again a year of transition for Andee, stepping
into the Legends car class. She continued her success, winning the INEX Legend
Cars On Dirt North Dakota State Championship, and placing 2nd in National
Points. Andee was also successful in the mini sprint, picking up a feature win
at the Southwest Speedway in Dickinson, ND.
2011 again found Andee in unfamiliar territory, making the
transition to the world of dirt modifieds. She competed with the WISSOTA Weekly
Series at Buffalo City Speedway. Andee was also given the opportunity to attend
the Cory Kruseman Driving School in California, learning the "ins and
outs" of driving a dirt midget from the master himself. Andee put her
newfound wisdom to use, picking up a 10th place finish in her first ever midget
race at the Ventura Speedway in California.
2012 found Andee heading to Tulsa to compete in her first
Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. Once the regular season kicked off, Andee once
again competed at Buffalo City with the WISSOTA Modified Weekly Series. She
continued to gain experience in the modified division, including an 8th place
finish at the Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, ND.
2013 saw Andee once again kick off the season at the Chili
Bowl Midget Nationals, teaming up with Andrew Felker Racing. She continued the
indoor theme, heading to the Cedar Lake Indoor Midget Nationals in New
Richmond, WI. Andee picked up a heat race win at the event, and placed 14th in
the feature. Andee raced with the IMCA Dakota Classic Modified Tour in the summer
of 2013, finishing inside the Top-25 in series points, besting 75 fellow
competitors. Andee also managed to squeeze in a Buffalo City Speedway Track
Championship in the Stock Lite Kart class during her busy schedule.
2014 will once again be a year of change for Andee. After
kicking off the season at the Chili Bowl driving for Stephanie Meents Racing,
Andee will be making the biggest move in her career to date. Andee has been
given the opportunity to run a 305ci Winged Sprint Car weekly at the infamous Knoxville
Raceway in Knoxville, IA. Her schedule will primarily focus on racing
Knoxville, but will include several other special events throughout the season.
Andee is looking forward to writing a new chapter in her
career this season!
