“Beierle Battles At Knoxville”

Bismarck, ND-May 26, 2014- Week #6 of the 2014 Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cup ushered Memorial Day Weekend with beautiful weather and a packed pit area at the Knoxville Raceway, as 79 cars signed in to do battle, keeping the car count consistently around the 80 milestone all season .

Twenty-two 305s signed in for night six of competition. Andee went out in the 3rd flight of group qualifying and posted a lap of 18.748, good enough for 20th quick on the evening.

Andee was scheduled start 7th in Heat #2. At the end of the 6-lap affair, Andee would cross the finish line in 5th position.

Next up for Andee was the 12 lap A-Feature. Nineteen of the 22 cars entered made the call.

Andee took the green from 16th and was finding her way up through the pack before mid-race caution slowed the field. One the race restarted, Andee again began to find her groove before contact sent her spinning on the front straightaway. Andee kept her composure and stayed in the throttle, executing a 360 spin, keeping the car under power and minimizing the loss of track position.

Andee was officially scored in the 16th position at the checkered flag. Although her results didn’t reflect her performance, Andee continues to gain confidence and comfort at the famed half-mile.

Next up is Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cup Series night #7 on May 31st!
